With a career spanning decades, Roy Inman has built a dynamic and wide-ranging photographic legacy that reflects his deep curiosity about people, places, and the world around him. His archive includes more than 500,000 images capturing models, landscapes, historic architecture, fountains, railroad trains, culinary subjects, and countless other scenes that define both everyday life and extraordinary moments.
Throughout his career, Inman has served as both a staff photographer and freelancer for The Kansas City Star, producing memorable work for the newspaper and for Star Magazine, where his striking images appeared weekly in the Sunday edition for 14 years.
His work extends far beyond Kansas City. Roy has photographed for renowned national publications including The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, and the Associated Press, as well as numerous corporate and commercial clients.
