All photographs are printed in a professional photographic lab using silver halide material, which produces images of archival quality that can last 100 years. Of course no guarantee can be made as to the longevity of any photographic print, because how and where an image is displayed affects how permanent the image will be. Photographs should ideally be placed in low-light areas away from direct sunlight for optimal permanence.
Photographs can also be produced on canvass and metal. Contact us for special pricing.
We assume that all prints are sold for personal in-home or office use. For advertising, commercial, film, web or print use, contact us for pricing of digital files and transmission.
All prints are shipped either flat (smaller sizes) or in sturdy mailing tubes (larger sizes). Turnaround time is ten business days. Rush service is available. Contact us for details.
We do not offer matting or framing of prints.
We recommend matting prints on archival material and framing under glass.
All of the images on our site are sold with the understanding that prints are for personal in home or office use only.

“I’ve had the opportunity to work with Roy Inman on a variety of book projects, and he’s a joy. His photographic skills are excellent to the point of extraordinary. He possesses a remarkable ability to capture not just the technically perfect photograph but the emotions that inspired the image in the first place. His chronicling of vast parts of the Kansas City landscape is especially notable. One comes away from an Inman photograph with awe and an awareness of Roy’s deep love for his craft. On top of that, the man hits his deadlines!”
“If you know of a more iconic photographer than Roy Inman, more steeped in Kansas City, you’re incorrect. Roy sees and captures the moment better than anyone else can. New Theatre comes back to Roy Inman time and again because we know we’ll get great shots. That’s why you hire a photographer, right?”
“Kansas City Southern turns to Roy Inman, time after time, for corporate communications projects, because of his unique and engaging blend of artistry and photojournalism.”
“As a freelance writer and former editor of two upscale lifestyle publications in Kansas City, I have had the great experience of working with Roy Inman. He truly defines collaboration and creativity. Not only is Roy a technically talented and thoughtful photographer, he always has his eye on how to tell stories visually, in a fresh and compelling way, and is diligent and dedicated to any task. I always know when Roy is photographing one of my stories my words are in a master visual storyteller’s hands.”
“Roy is professional and courteous at all times and respects the safety and security of the areas where word is taking place. He knows what a photo should be and is always willing to take whatever time is necessary to get high quality results…no matter the conditions! Roy places the needs of his clients as top priority in his planning and the results prove it! The days he was involved in my projects were days I looked forward to. Roy’s just a genuinely nice person to boot.”
